Description
About the Role:
Baird’s MBA Leadership Development Program (LDP) Internship provides first-year MBA students with the opportunity to explore different areas of Baird, a successful middle market financial services firm. You will work on specific assigned projects designed to help you gain an understanding of one business unit and one corporate function at Baird. You will help implement key strategic priorities for the firm by leading impactful work, gain direct exposure to senior leaders and interact with an assigned mentor who will assist in developing your skillset. We are open to candidates with previous financial services experience and those who are new to the industry. Upon completion of the internship, participants will be evaluated for entry into the full-time LDP program.
Baird’s full-time MBA Leadership Development Program (LDP) program is a CEO-sponsored 18-month rotational experience through different business units that advances your management career by giving you meaningful responsibility in strategic areas of a thriving financial services company. The LDP offers an opportunity to combine your professional background, academic skills and knowledge of our business through formal and on-the-job training to move toward a management career at Baird. Throughout the program you will interact with senior management, receive ongoing professional development, executive coaching and complete robust assignments.
The Summer 2027 Leadership Development Program Internship will be in-person, with time spent in our Milwaukee and Chicago offices. The internship will include a rotation in a business unit and a corporate function.
