Job Description & Summary

At PwC, our people in finance focus on providing financial advice and strategic guidance to clients, helping them optimise their financial performance and make informed business decisions. These individuals handle financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.

Those in accounting at PwC will focus on managing financial records, analysing data, and assisting in compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making.

To provide high-quality outsourcing support through a structured developmental assignment. The role will independently coordinate and deliver low risk engagements, while contributing to complex engagements under appropriate review and guidance. It will also support the growth of the practice by strengthening trusted relationships with Chinese-speaking clients, understanding their business needs, and coordinating responsive service across the team.

 

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

• Perform defined workstreams under the direction and review of experienced seniors and or M/SM; escalate significant issues promptly.
• Act as day-to-day engagement lead for low-complexity assignments, including planning, work 
  allocation, progress monitoring, issue resolution, and timely delivery
• Review work prepared by junior team members for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and compliance with applicable requirements and internal procedures.
• Coordinate accounting, reporting, tax compliance, or other agreed outsourcing deliverables within the engagement scope.
• Maintain clear working papers, engagement documentation, status updates, and evidence of review.
• Develop and maintain trusted relationships with Chinese-speaking clients through proactive communication, cultural awareness, responsive follow-up, and a clear understanding of client needs.
• Coordinate with internal specialists and client stakeholders to resolve matters and deliver an integrated client experience.
• Follow applicable quality, confidentiality, independence, risk-management, and professional standards.
