We are seeking an Accounting Manager, Client Services to join its growing finance organization. Reporting directly to the Controller, this role will lead a team responsible for client accounting operations, reconciliations, strategic partnership support, transaction processing, and client asset management activities.
This position serves as a key bridge between Accounting, Treasury, and Client Services, helping ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial operations while supporting the company's continued growth, acquisition activity, and ongoing system transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys improving processes, and is comfortable wearing multiple hats.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and develop a team of up to five accounting and operations professionals.
- Oversee client accounting operations, including account reconciliations, transaction processing, strategic partnership support, and cash-related activities.
- Lead the reconciliation and reporting processes associated with significant client assets.
- Partner closely with the Controller and Senior Accounting Manager to maintain accurate financial records and strengthen internal controls.
- Collaborate with Treasury, Funding, Client Services, and Account Management teams to support client-related financial operations.
- Assist with onboarding and financial operations integration efforts related to acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and business growth initiatives.
- Support ongoing platform migration and ERP enhancement projects, including process improvements and workflow optimization.
- Participate in client-facing conversations and internal stakeholder meetings as needed to resolve financial and operational issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability, automation, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and external reporting obligations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Prior experience leading or mentoring accounting staff.
- Experience in public accounting and/or a high-growth, fast-paced business environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliations, month-end close, financial reporting, and accounting operations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functions.
- Experience supporting systems implementations, process improvements, or business transformation initiatives is preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred.
- An individual that understands the value of providing a high level of customer service.
Work Environment
This person will work Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm EST with an hour lunch break. This role operates in a professional hybrid environment based out of our Charlotte office (off West Morehead) (3+ days in office). Roles may be approved for other schedules by managers. This role is mostly sedentary and consists of prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. This role also utilizes other tools such as a phone, copy machine, and printer. Common programs often used are Outlook, Word, and Excel. This position frequently communicates with FloresHR team members and candidates and must be able to exchange accurate information clearly in these situations.
