You will play a key role in ensuring students and external customers receive accurate, timely, and professional service while supporting the College's commitment to a positive student experience.

As the Finance business owner for Accounts Receivable processes within the College's Student Information System, you will work closely with partners across the institution, particularly the Registrar's Office, to improve business processes, enhance service delivery, and support ongoing system modernization initiatives. You will also lead efforts to streamline workflows, leverage technology, establish meaningful performance metrics, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

  • CPA designation or progress toward a CPA designation is considered an asset.
  • Experience leading accounts receivable, collections, billing, or financial operations functions in a complex organization.
  • Knowledge of student financial administration and customer account management, preferably within a post-secondary or public-sector environment.
  • Experience supervising, coaching, and developing staff while promoting a collaborative and service-oriented culture.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, account reconciliations, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of Canadian indirect taxation, including HST requirements and the administration of student tax reporting requirements such as T2202 and T4A reporting.
  • Experience with enterprise financial systems, student information systems, business process improvement, and technology implementation projects.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • A commitment to service excellence, continuous learning, and operational effectiveness.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both the student experience and the College's financial operations. You will lead an important function, contribute to major systems transformation initiatives, and work alongside dedicated professionals who are committed to innovation, collaboration, and exceptional service.
