Commercial Roofing Project Manager

Location: City of Industry, CA (Onsite)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Project Manager to oversee commercial roofing and waterproofing projects from contract award through final completion. The ideal candidate has a solid background in commercial roofing project management, strong financial and organizational skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial roofing and waterproofing projects from award through closeout.

• Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls.

• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field personnel, and internal project teams.

• Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, building owners, architects, and other project stakeholders.

• Prepare and negotiate change orders, subcontracts, purchase orders, and other project documentation.

• Monitor project financial performance, including budgets, billing, collections, forecasting, and profitability.

• Ensure projects meet contractual requirements, safety standards, quality expectations, and established deadlines.

• Assist with project planning, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.

• Lead project meetings and provide clear updates to customers and company leadership.

• Identify and resolve project challenges while supporting field operations and overall project success.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial roofing project management experience.

• Experience managing commercial roofing and waterproofing projects.

• Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, construction methods, and industry best practices.

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.

• Experience with project budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and financial reporting.

• Strong communication, organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities effectively.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software. Experience with Procore, COINS, Bluebeam, or similar platforms is preferred.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed.
