Our AI solutions enhance efficiency, spark creativity, and drive insightful decision-making, empowering our teams to produce innovative and impactful results.
Role: Designer
Location: Chicago, Illinois - 4 days in office per week
About the role:
As Designer, you'll work with one of OLIVER's client, collaborating with a Creative Director and a wider creative team to produce high-quality work across multiple brands and channels. You'll take creative from concept through to polished, production-ready execution — independently managing your workload and delivering with consistent craft and clear creative thinking.
This is a role for someone confident interpreting briefs autonomously, proposing considered solutions, and iterating efficiently on feedback. Whether you're building out a social campaign, developing a brand toolkit, or exploring new visual directions, you'll bring curiosity, rigour, and platform fluency to every piece of work.
What you will be doing:
- Concept and produce design across social, digital, email, OOH, in-store, and campaign toolkit formats for client's brand portfolio
- Develop platform-relevant assets that are audience-aware, visually strong, and optimised for their intended channels and formats
- Interpret briefs independently — asking the right questions, proposing considered solutions, and presenting work clearly to the Creative Director
- Apply and flex brand guidelines accurately across multiple brand identities and tones of voice within the client portfolio
- Collaborate with copywriters, strategists, producers, and fellow creatives to deliver integrated, cohesive work
- Iterate efficiently on feedback from the Creative Director and client stakeholders, maintaining quality through multiple rounds of revision
- Use Gen AI tools to support ideation, accelerate production, and explore creative possibilities — with strong human judgement applied throughout
- Stay current with design trends, platform formats, and cultural moments relevant to the beverage, lifestyle, and entertainment space
- Contribute actively to studio life — sharing ideas, supporting peers, and bringing a solutions-focused presence to the team
What you need to be great in this role:
- A strong portfolio demonstrating design craft across digital and social formats — showing range, visual intelligence, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma
- Confidence working independently across multiple concurrent projects in a fast-moving studio environment
- Sound understanding of social platforms, digital channels, and content formats — knowing what works and why
- Ability to work within brand systems and adapt them thoughtfully across diverse briefs and formats
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach — comfortable receiving and responding to feedback constructively
- Experience in the alcohol, beverage, or lifestyle sector is a plus, though not a requirement
Gen AI & Agentic Thinking
- Proficiency with Gen AI tools relevant to design — including image generation, ideation support, and workflow tools — to enhance output quality and efficiency
- Experience building personal AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and creative quality
- Agentic approach to problem-solving — able to break down briefs and identify clear, efficient creative paths forward
- Ability to critically evaluate AI outputs and apply strong human creative judgement
