Are you an experienced Dental Assistant looking for an opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled doctor in a supportive, team-oriented environment? Our growing practice is seeking a motivated, patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our clinical team and support Dr. Virginia Mendell, an award-winning dentist with extensive experience in cosmetic, restorative, endodontic, surgical, and implant dentistry.

 

Schedule: Monday - Thursday: 7:45 AM - 5:00 PM60-minute lunch breakOccasional Fridays

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentists chairside
• Welcomes patients
• Prepares patients for treatments or checkups ensuring comfort
• Selection and setup of instrumentation, equipment and other dental materials as needed
• Instrument sterilization according to regulations
• Maintains accurate patient records
• Lab tasks as instructed
• Provide post-operative care instructions
• Maintain clean and stocked operatories

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Dental Assisting experience required
• Experience with implant procedures is highly preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
• Comfortable working with one primary doctor

Practice Description

Our practice provides comprehensive general dentistry with an emphasis on advanced restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and implant treatment. You'll work closely with Dr. Virginia Mendell, whose commitment to quality dentistry and patient comfort has earned her multiple "America's Best Dentist" recognitions.

 

Dr. Mendell brings a unique background and extensive clinical experience, including advanced training through the Dawson Academy and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Her special interests include cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, restorative care, implant dentistry, surgical procedures, bone grafting, and laser dentistry.
