As part of Alexandria’s System of Care, this position collaborates with youth, families, natural supports, and system partners, including child welfare, juvenile justice, education, and court services, to deliver integrated, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care. Services emphasize youth and family voice and choice, racial equity, and strengths-based, outcomes-driven practice while recognizing the impact of generational and complex trauma. All work is performed in accordance with departmental policies, professional standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and community partners, communicate clearly both orally and in writing, and analyze clinical information to develop comprehensive treatment recommendations. Ability to provide culturally responsive services to diverse populations, utilize data to support quality improvement and program outcomes, and manage multiple priorities while maintaining compliance with regulatory, licensing, and accreditation standards.

  • Provide evidence-based, trauma-informed clinical services to youth with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders and their families in an outpatient setting.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams and community partners, including the Court Service Unit (CSU), child welfare agencies, schools, and other stakeholders to coordinate care and support treatment planning and service delivery.
  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with clients, multidisciplinary teams, community stakeholders, and the public.
  • Collect, track, and utilize outcome, satisfaction, and program data to support continuous quality improvement and evidence-informed practice.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the social, cultural, and systemic factors affecting the mental health and well-being of marginalized populations and communities of color.
  • Provide clinical presentations, consultation, court testimony, and participate in legal proceedings as required.
  • Complete and maintain clinical documentation, treatment records, and reports in compliance with accreditation standards, regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
