Responsibilities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop Criminal Defense and Family Law paralegals and legal support staff.
- Assign and monitor workloads to ensure timely completion of tasks and balanced team utilization.
- Establish and maintain department workflows, best practices, and quality standards.
- Partner with attorneys to ensure cases progress efficiently and deadlines are consistently met.
- Assist with onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management of paralegal staff.
- Draft, review, and oversee pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, correspondence, and trial materials.
- Manage complex case files from intake through resolution.
- Ensure compliance with court rules, filing requirements, and internal procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, client service, and operational processes.
- Serve as a resource for attorneys and staff on procedural and case management issues.
- Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of paralegal experience, with substantial experience in both Criminal Defense and Family Law.
- Previous experience supervising, mentoring, or managing paralegals or legal support staff.
- Strong knowledge of criminal and family law litigation procedures.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.

- $50.00 per hour ($104,000 annually)
- Full-time, in-office position
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
