About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Process Engineer.
In this role, you will:
Develop and lead redesign initiatives that encompass analyses and future state redesigns
Manage assigned complex initiatives involving multiple business process segments to identify risks
Complete and lead integrated process analyses, identifying procedural and control deficiencies, opportunities, and recommending solutions
Consult with team to understand, influence, adapt research, and create alternatives for consideration, drive results, and bring issues to resolution
Make decisions and resolve issues to meet business objectives
Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal customers
Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
In‑depth understanding of AI / GenAI solution design, with the ability to translate business and process problems into AI‑enabled use cases
Fundamental understanding of AI, ML, and GenAI concepts, including model types, training vs. inference, prompt-based systems, and automation-driven decisioning
Strong process-first mindset to identify where AI adds measurable value versus traditional automation or rule-based solutions
Experience assessing data readiness, data quality, and data dependencies required to support AI/ML solutions within enterprise process environments
Understanding of PowerApps, Power Automate, and other Low-Code / No-Code platforms, and how they integrate with AI components to enable end-to-end workflows
Ability to design and support end-to-end (E2E) deployment of AI solutions in collaboration with business, technology, AI COE, and model governance stakeholders
Experience embedding AI solutions into redesigned future-state processes while ensuring control integrity and regulatory alignment
Ability to evaluate AI solution performance, adoption, and operational impact, and recommend iterative improvements based on outcomes
Strong stakeholder management skills to communicate AI concepts, limitations, and value propositions to non-technical partners
Familiarity with ethical AI principles, responsible AI practices, and regulatory expectations applicable to financial services environments.
