As Director, Culinary Innovation, Tim Hortons, US, you are responsible for developing and introducing the next generation of food offerings at Tim Hortons US. You are also responsible for ensuring constant quality improvements are made to our offerings to ensure we continue to offer best-in-class food offerings across the 700+ Tim Hortons restaurants in the US. Reporting to the VP of Marketing for Tim Hortons US, you will own key food priorities for the brand and take products from concept to in-store, whilst working cross functionally, obtaining leadership alignment, and completing commercialization of these products. As part of the marketing team, you will be at the heart of driving sales for the business through innovative, on-brand food introductions for Tim Hortons guests across the United States.
RBI follows a 5 day, in-office work schedule to support collaboration. Successful candidates will be expected to work onsite 5 days per week.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for developing and driving new food innovations across all food platforms for Tim Hortons US.
· Responsible for ensuring our menu offerings are constantly improving to ensure best-in-class food offerings in our restaurants across the US
· Engage with US and International vendors to generate key global innovation insights and develop next generation of food and platforms
· Collaborate with Category, Calendar, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations to manage timelines and drive execution for test markets and national launches.
· Commercialize all ingredients related to food at Tim Hortons US
· Analyze industry insights and data to develop a data-centric approach to innovation
· Project manage food innovation priorities to ensure that projects meet key timelines and milestones
· Work with R&D to lead sensory for key innovations
· Develop recommendations to further strengthen food test market, national launch process
Skills:
· Post-secondary degree with 8-10 years of experience in roles focused on product development, innovation, project management
· Proficiency in excel with strong ability to analyze data and develop recommendations
· Ability to project manage, meet timelines, and influence cross functional stakeholders
· Self-starter, able to work independently
· Able to develop PowerPoint presentations and influence stakeholders
· Previous QSR, food innovation experience is a bonus
