About your team
You’ll join the HR team supporting FIL Platforms – a global organisation of over 6,000 colleagues responsible for delivering Fidelity’s core business capabilities end‑to‑end. Working at the heart of a large-scale, complex transformation, you’ll help shape how work is simplified, scaled and delivered across technology, operations and data to drive better client and investment outcomes.
The team oversees all aspects of human capital management matters across FIL Platforms, working closely and collaboratively with senior leaders and HR CoEs within the organization - global HRBPs, talent acquisition, talent management and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations and organisation development to ensure enterprise-aligned and future-focused people outcomes.
About your role
Working closely with Senior HR Business Partners, you'll play an important role in supporting the delivery of people initiatives across the FIL Platforms business. This is an excellent opportunity for who is keen to develop broad HR experience while gaining exposure to strategic projects, organisational change and modern people practices within a global financial services environment.
Alongside supporting senior stakeholders and day-to-day HR activity, you'll contribute to projects that enhance how we attract, develop and engage our people. You'll use data, technology and insight to help deliver people initiatives and continuously improve the way HR supports the business.
- Support the delivery of HR projects and strategic people initiatives, including Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, employee engagement, organisational change, skills and capability programmes, and continuous improvement activities.
- Partner with Senior HR Business Partners to deliver key people priorities, supporting organisational change and annual people processes such as talent reviews, performance and compensation cycles, promotions and workforce planning.
- Analyse people data and workforce insights, producing dashboards, reports and presentations that support business decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the adoption of technology and AI-enabled solutions to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
- Collaborate with HR Centres of Excellence and global HR colleagues to deliver people initiatives and ensure a consistent approach across regions.
- Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees, supporting day-to-day HR queries and straightforward employee relations matters, escalating more complex issues where appropriate.
- Build strong relationships across the business, developing commercial understanding while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing HR team.
About you
You're looking to build a long-term career in HR and are ready to take the next step in a role that offers broad exposure, development and the opportunity to work alongside experienced HR Business Partners.
You'll bring:
- Experience in a generalist HR role, with exposure to a broad range of people activities across the employee lifecycle.
- A genuine ambition to develop a career in HR Business Partnering, with the curiosity and drive to continuously learn and grow.
- An interest in HR projects, organisational change and improving the employee experience, with enthusiasm for contributing beyond day-to-day HR activity.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with people data, using Excel to manipulate information, identify trends and produce meaningful insight.
