We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) located in the Dresden area to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Perform site surveys, pre-installation, installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools (e.g. X-ray, automated AFM, Photomask Repair tools)
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance
- Provide technical support, basic application support, and customer training
- Build strong relationship with key accounts
- Serve as a supportive and effective communication link between the customer and Bruker to ensure customer service satisfaction
- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the semiconductor business
- Travel regularly to customer sites across Germany and internationally (approximately 30–40% travel)
- Timely complete and submit all required paperwork
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
- Become a trusted advisor and support service contract and new tool sales
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience with standard diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters), strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to understand and resolve issues in complex electro-mechanical systems
- Able to work in manufacturing, cleanroom, and laboratory environments
- Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware, industry-standard operating systems, and technical documentation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Business-fluent English and German
- A current EU driving license
