What You'll Do

As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll play an essential role in creating a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for our clients by:

• Build positive, therapeutic relationships with clients throughout treatment

• Assist with client admissions and the intake process

• Monitor clients during daily programming and activities

• Support treatment plan goals through daily interactions and interventions

• Conduct required safety rounds and bed checks

• Monitor medication line and report concerns to nursing staff

• Complete client documentation and shift communication logs accurately

• Conduct client belongings and safety searches when required

• Maintain a clean, safe, and structured treatment environment

• Respond appropriately during crisis situations while maintaining professionalism

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to support client success

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Previous experience in behavioral health, mental health, substance use treatment, healthcare, or human services

• Experience facilitating groups or activities

• Valid driver's license
