Talent Acquisition Manager (Technical Recruiter)

About the Role: 

PubMatic is hiring an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager (Technical Recruiting) to join our Redwood City Office as a Contract Recruiter for 12 months to help fuel our US growth in 2026 and beyond. Our Recruiters are responsible for finding exceptional candidates that possess a unique, entrepreneurial spirit and passion for programmatic ad tech across our Engineering, Machine Learning and Product teams. You will be joining a high-impact recruiting team functioning as internal consultants to drive strategic, operational, and organizational excellence.  

What You'll Do: 

• Directly source qualified and exceptionally talented candidates for a variety of open positions across our Engineering (Software Engineers), Product (Product Management/Data Science) and Machine Learning Teams. 

• Meet with hiring managers to align on role responsibilities and expectations, establish the interview panel, schedule interviews, prepare interview packets and collect timely feedback to ensure a positive candidate experience and reduce time to fill. 

 

• Partner with Human Resource to benchmark the compensation range for the role. 

• Manage open positions within our Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse) 

• Facilitate the posting of open roles to LinkedIn Recruiter and the PubMatic Careers page. 

• Source passive candidates through networking, cold calling, complex internet searches and research.  

• Source active candidates from on-line databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals.  

• Execute sourcing strategies that produce a diverse slate of candidates.  

• Develop diverse pipeline candidate pools to fill current and potential needs.  

• Communicate with candidates/new hires (phone and email) throughout entire hiring and orientation process.  

Who You Are: 

• Prior experience recruiting for Ad Tech, Digital Advertising, Media or Ecommerce, is required.  

• Experience filling high volume roles across Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, and Marketing from entry to senior level roles  

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills  

• LinkedIn Recruiter expert
