The Mission
In your role you will support the Wholesale Banking Data Management organizations in achieving a well governed data lake that ensures data availability, common understanding of business terms, impeccable data quality, traceable and controlled data in line with local and global regulations.
As Customer Journey Expert (CJE), you will be part of the tribe Wholesale Data Management Operations and one of the squads working on the Robust Data Operations and Analytics Platform. You will work in a cross-border and cross-functional team focused on supporting the delivery of local and regional regulatory initiatives.
Your day to day
The CJE will be responsible for building out and delivering the business requirements, business processes and business constraints for the global and domain CDO functions, as well as for the business functions across domain. The Customer Journey Expert will apply and align with Global Data Management’s principles, standards and good practices. Within the platform of WB Data Lake and the Management Information / Business Analytics (MIBI) environments, he / she will take responsibility in making sure data is, through this platform, available for the data owners and data users. This includes having Data Governance as well as business analytical capabilities in place for the respective users.

• Banking experience would represent a plus
Key responsibilities:
• Develop vision and strategy for (elements of) the Data Management and Analytics Platform.
• You will develop the product vision together with your stakeholders and squad, further creating and maintaining a product backlog according to business value.
• You will keep your hands-on activity within a squad. You will ensure business requirements are translated in the backlogthe backlog by “user stories” (what is needed, for whom and why):
o analyze and document business processes
o identify data to be sourced and structured into the Data Lake
o document requirements on data quality, data privacy, data security, and other relevant aspects of data
o take part in the testing phase
• You will ensure the product backlog is visible, transparent and clear.
• You will facilitate backlog refinement and drive the planning sessions
• You will manage stakeholders by proactively communicating on timelines, impediments and priorities.
• You will secure the operational performance of the assets which are delivered and maintained by your squad.
• You will continuously take the initiative to improve the way of working and the collaboration within your squad. You frequently align with other POs, Chapter Leads and Agile Coach in Data Management to achieve the best overall results.
What you bring to the team

• Strong relationship management experience, with prior experience working collaboratively in a cross functional team

• You have a passion for Data (Management)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Experience in working with SQL or Cognos and PowerBI preferred
• Previous banking experience: working with WB financial markets products
• Fluent in English.
