Your primary responsibilities will involve special projects, process improvements, reporting and analysis, with the overriding goal to create and implement innovative solutions to financial problems. During your work term, you also will be responsible for several month-end closing requirements including monthly reporting and analysis, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Additional specific assignments will include profitability analysis on product merchandising displays, advertising pre/post launch examinations, sales variance analysis and trade spend analysis. Throughout your work term, you will also gain valuable SAP experience, which is a marketable skill to add to your resume.Job Requirements / Skills Required:
- Strong analytical skills with precise attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated problem solving skills – ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems
- Ability to think strategically, analyze various business situations and make actionable recommendations
- Software Packages (essential): Microsoft Office (particularly Microsoft Excel)
- Additional Software Packages (experience is an asset): SAP, SAP Business Warehouse
- CPA aspirations is a definite asset
- Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience is also an asset

The Company's Total Rewards package is at or above industry levels. The expected base salary range for this position is between 42,900.00 CAD - 42,900.00 CAD. Job related skills, experience, education, and location will be considered in setting actual starting base salary. In addition to your base salary and depending on job level, eligibility, and performance, a total package may include profit sharing, a short-term incentive and/or long-term incentives.
