Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Supervisor to manage and oversee all financial and accounting processes related to our key retail partners—Watsons and Mercury Drug. This role involves direct coordination between internal teams (sales, logistics, inventory) and external retail partners to ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
Account Reconciliation & Financial Transactions:
- Oversee daily and monthly reconciliation of sales, deductions, chargebacks, and remittances from Watsons and Mercury Drug.
- Validate and process debit/credit memos and ensure proper documentation and alignment with purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging specific to Watsons and Mercury, and coordinate with sales and collection teams for timely settlement.
Billing & Invoicing:
- Ensure timely and accurate generation of sales invoices and billing documents in accordance with the terms of Watsons and Mercury Drug.
- Handle EDI (electronic data interchange) uploads, portal transactions, and invoice submissions as per partner guidelines.
- Reconcile any pricing discrepancies, chargebacks, or trade discounts claimed by partners.
Coordination with Distribution Operations:
- Collaborate closely with the sales, supply chain, and warehouse teams to ensure alignment between delivery records, sales entries, and inventory movement.
- Verify and cross-check delivery confirmations, proof of delivery (POD), and goods return notes (GRN).
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare monthly reports on account performance, outstanding balances, and discrepancy resolution for Watsons and Mercury Drug.
- Assist in audits and ensure documentation is compliant with internal controls and external regulatory standards (e.g., BIR).
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to trade partners.
