Description
1. Manage legal efforts in response to contentious inquiries, including managing pre-litigious and regulatory matters, encountered by the company and internal stakeholders.
2. Communicate with external counsel and negotiate with the opposition.
3. Provide proactive, in-depth, commercially sensible legal advice to all stakeholders and write formal legal opinions.
4. Take charge of the analysis of the legality of financial products.
5. Support in developing and implementing legal strategy to reduce the risk of disputes while balancing against the organization's overall business strategy.
6. Assist in negotiating contracts for different business lines in the ecosystem, and support in various risk management projects.
7. Be responsible for drafting and reviewing court, arbitration documents, liaison and settlement agreements.
8. Partner with cross-functional and regional teams and provide support on legal matters of varying complexity, sensitivity, and tangibility.
9. Take prudent risks within the context of the overall business, and advise and implement solutions to address issues identified.
10. Provide administrative support to manage corporate documents and other documentation.
11. General overall support to the legal team.
