The Manufacturing Alignment Engineering (MAE) team, which is organized under Operation Central Team (OCT), focuses on establishing training, practices, alignment programs, and team/talent management to enable virtual clustered scale across the network. This includes using suppliers to achieve benchmark manufacturing performance, discovering and implementing equipment and process best known methods (BKM), optimizing equipment utilization, reducing cash costs and labor inefficiencies, and prioritizing and completing continuous improvement projects globally.
As a Senior Manager, Front End Manufacturing Alignment at Micron Technology, Inc., you will manage a team of Manufacturing Alignment Engineers and OCT Total Productivity Management (TPM) Program managers, focusing on their performance and career development.
Responsibilities:
- Set annual strategies and establish aligned Key Performance Indicators for network performance improvements, reviewing site progress and engaging engineers to close performance gaps.
- Attend strategic site meetings, conduct quarterly reviews, publish monthly performance reports, and ensure resource assignment and follow-up for MAE programs
- Provide governance for MAE Programs and business processes across the Pillars including sponsorship and coaching of new program development with Alignment Engineers. Sustain TPM 2.0 program, drive deployment and certification of TPM methodologies, establish initiatives for labor efficiency, and lead metrics programs to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime
- Lead the F4 Manufacturing alignment team to support new site expansion and qualification, facilitate fab tool installations and new technology startups. Standardize expansion sites to BKM practices and systems of the Front End Mfg network, align and complete roadmaps for integration into MAE programs, and benchmark progress based on site customer needs.
- Engage in site strategic roadmap programs, provide support with network benchmarking and SEAL BKM systems, collaborate with site leaders on Global MAE program updates and performance metrics, and resolve strategic and tactical issues to ensure commitments for safety, cost, quality, output, and yield are met.
- Collaborate with site and area leaders for resolving both strategic and tactical issues to ensure site commitments for Safety, Cost, Quality, Output and Yield are attained.
- Partner with customers and IT teams to develop systems that drive organizational efficiency and performance. Become an authority in SEAL Standardized System requirements, coach and train area-level BKM implementation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering or Related field of study
- 5 years of experience leading a team in the semiconductor industry
- 2 years of experience in Process and Equipment in at least one or more fab functional groups
- Good English skills and the ability to lead and coordinate multiple teams
- Able to support quarterly travel between US HVM sites for roadmap alignment, new technology transfer at receiving sites, and ad-hoc travel for key initiatives or site support requests across all Micron FE sites
- Regularly support global teams during collaboration zone hours (evening in US time zone).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience with global program deployment and multi-site collaboration.
- In-depth knowledge of Micron TPM and 6S Programs
- Experience with Micron SEAL Standardization process
