Our gastroenterology practice works with a dedicated team of physicians and advanced practice providers in collaboration to deliver top-notch patient care. Our physicians work in multiple endoscopy spaces performing outpatient procedures. Our space includes multiple subspecialty teams ensuring comprehensive treatment. With a warm and inviting atmosphere we prioritize strong teamwork, allowing us to support one another in providing exceptional care. Together we strive for seamless operations and positive patient experiences every day.  

About Outpatient Clinics 

Corewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area. 

Scope of work 

Under the direction of the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, contributes to the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. Informs patients and families about treatments and medications being received, equipment being utilized, and other related activities as appropriate, in coordination with the RN/Mid-level Provider/Physician. Documents care provided via computer/written patient record in a manner consistent with guidelines. 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent Required
• Graduate of an approved Nursing Program Required
• MI Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Required
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
