Production Shift Lead

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Under direction of the Shift Manager, the Shift Lead is responsible for supervising the production, safety, and quality control functions of the manufacturing lines. A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company and the capability of working in a team environment are necessary for this position.

• Supervises associates assigned to the manufacturing processes
• Ensures all items manufactured are completed by the scheduled time
• Ensures quality control and verifying all products produced meets or exceeds company standards
• Enforces company safety policies including team member use of personal protective equipment
• Demonstrates a commitment to the quality improvement process and the philosophy of continuous improvement; identify and respond actively and with sensitivity to the needs of all customers; participates as a team player in all phases of the organization; and is open and responsive to change.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned
