Responsibilities & Qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Performs engineering, assessment, migration, implementation, optimization, and sustainment of Cisco-based enterprise routing, switching, WLAN, and software-defined networking supporting AMC modernization. 

REQUIRED SKILLS 

• 5 years of experience
• Must have an active Secret clearance
• Cisco enterprise routing, switching, WLAN, and data-center networking 
• Catalyst, Nexus, Catalyst Center/DNAC, ISE, Software-Defined Access, and controller-based WLAN 
• BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VRFs, QoS, multicast, IPv4/IPv6, redundancy, and segmentation 
• 802.1X, RADIUS/TACACS+, NAC, PKI integration, and secure network access 
• Network assessment, design, migration, implementation, testing, cutover, rollback, and troubleshooting 
• DISA STIG implementation, secure baselines, and configuration-management discipline 
• Development of engineering diagrams, implementation procedures, validation plans, and as-built documentation 

DESIRED SKILLS 

• ThousandEyes, SD-WAN, Cisco Spaces, and Catalyst Center automation 
• SDA fabric migration and brownfield enterprise modernization 
• Cisco wireless specialization and large-campus WLAN 
• DoD/Air Force BAN, NIPR/SIPR, HAIPE, and tenant-enclave integration 
• Zero Trust and identity-based segmentation implementation 
• Python/Ansible/API-based network automation 

CERTIFICATIONS 

Required: 

• CCNP Enterprise 

• IAT II (e.g. Security+) 

Desired: 

• Cisco Wireless

WAGE INFORMATION

Target salary range: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00.  The salary range displayed is an estimate only and is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements.  The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
