About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Sales Performance Analyst, you will create purposeful sales pipeline product MI in the form of automated dashboards and visualisations that help our business evaluate the success of our sales funnel with the goal of optimising conversions and improving our time from lead to live for merchants. The role will work closely with BI, product and GTM teams with a specific product lens to ensure our sales team have clear views of monthly product related leading and lagging performance measures.

You will drive the adoption of automated reporting using automated visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI & Google Data Studio) reengineering reports where necessary to establish real time views and driving a cadence underpinned by value add reporting. The ability to craft appropriate value-adding commentary that helps us manage our lead performance by lead source, highlighting areas of growth and enabling us to address any blockers.

What You’ll Own 

• Navigating our product sales teams towards positive outcomes by partnering with the SMB Line of Business (LoB) sales teams and leaders for Americas, Software and Genius to deliver data driven, actionable insights 

• Creates, delivers and interprets both in month and actual product sales performance insights including transformation, where necessary, across regions.

• Drives weekly cadence on product funnel insights including deep insights which optimize performance through lead / campaign level insights delivering measurable improvements

• Ad-hoc insights for new GTM product launches across our product / VAS offering

• Forecasting alignment with Finance (Short term plans)

• Governance, integrity and adoption of global sales KPIs / definitions

• Consolidates Exec views e.g MBR / QBR and drafts appropriate first line commentary for leader review

What you’ll bring

• Strong background in MI / Sales Performance Analysis (min 4 years experience)
• Ability to create meaningful, clear dashboards with appropriate value-adding commentary in Salesforce (utilising add ons where necessary to enhance visualisations)
• Outstanding analytical skills, self-motivated, high performing and goal oriented
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and skilled at ‘making the complex simple’ and the ability to bring data to life with ‘the story’ (especially for non-financial/data users)
• Comfortable managing stakeholders, both internal and external and able to question or challenge the status quo appropriately
• Work well under tight timescales and are able to prioritise effectively without supervision
• Able to demonstrate a can-do attitude in line with our core behaviours 

Desirable: 

• Highly numerate and a confident user of Salesforce, Excel and Google products (primarily Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Data Studio)
• Confident in statistical modelling (understands and can apply algorithms, regression models and decision trees) 
• Ability to produce machine learning models
• Experience with BI tools (e.g. Oracle Hyperion) or purpose built reporting cubes is an advantage
• A background in acquiring, fintech or a software industry would be advantageous
• Fluent in programming languages e.g. HTML, Python, SQL would also be an advantage
