Position Overview - Basic Functions & Responsibility
Essential function(s) includes, but is not limited to:
- Lead end-to-end management of competitive intelligence (CI) projects, from business question definition and project design through execution, insight synthesis, stakeholder communication and impact tracking.
- Serve as the Business Partner to the SPOT department, combining a strong understanding of Launch Excellence and New Product Planning (NPP) to identify critical business needs and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Explore, design and build AI-empowered initiatives that enhance insight generation, improve efficiency and enable scalable decision support.
- Respond to company-level ad-hoc business questions and provide timely, integrated insights to support rapid decision-making for both the company and Business Excellence (BE).
The Core Responsibilities are:
Essential function(s) includes, but is not limited:
- Own the full lifecycle of CI projects, including needs diagnosis, scope definition, methodology design, vendor selection and management, timeline and budget control, compliant execution, insight synthesis, recommendation development and project impact review.
- Act as the strategic Business Partner to SPOT by proactively identifying and addressing key decisions across Launch Excellence and NPP, including early asset assessment, launch readiness, competitive landscape, strategic assumptions, execution choices and performance tracking.
- Integrate competitive intelligence, primary and secondary research, syndicated data, internal business information and external databases into a holistic and compelling business story that guides decisions.
- Explore and develop AI-empowered insight solutions and use cases, working with relevant internal and external partners to move initiatives from concept and pilot to practical adoption and scalable application.
- Engage and manage external agencies and data partners to ensure robust methodologies, high-quality deliverables, appropriate use of innovative approaches and compliance with company requirements.
- Establish fit-for-purpose success metrics and feedback mechanisms to assess project value, track outcomes and continuously improve insight quality, speed and business impact.
