Role:
The Director, Revenue Strategy & Analytics serves as the analytical backbone of the Revenue Management organization, providing data-driven insights that influence revenue growth, customer retention, pricing strategy, and long-term business planning. This role is responsible for identifying trends before they appear in financial results, uncovering growth opportunities, evaluating commercial performance, and developing actionable recommendations that improve revenue outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines advanced analytical capabilities with strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives for executive leadership. This individual will partner closely with Revenue Growth Programs, Customer Success, Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product, and Operations to identify opportunities, measure performance, and drive informed decision-making across the business.
How you'll contribute:
Revenue Strategy & Business Insights:
- Identify emerging revenue trends, risks, and opportunities before they are reflected in financial results.
- Develop forward-looking analyses that influence revenue outcomes and business performance.
- Partner with leadership teams to evaluate strategic growth opportunities and quantify business impact.
- Conduct market, competitive, customer, and commercial analyses to support revenue strategy development.
- Leverage external market signals, customer data, and internal operational metrics to inform decision making.
Commercial Analytics:
- Analyze customer purchasing behavior, retention trends, renewal performance, expansion opportunities, and revenue leakage.
- Assess pricing elasticity and commercial effectiveness to support pricing and packaging strategy decisions.
- Develop analytical frameworks that identify the most effective revenue growth levers.
- Support cross-sell, upsell, customer retention, and net-new revenue initiatives through data-driven recommendations.
- Conduct value realization and customer segmentation analyses to improve commercial effectiveness.
Forecasting & Revenue Performance:
- Develop predictive models and forward-looking analyses that improve forecast accuracy.
- Identify leading indicators and operational drivers that influence revenue performance.
- Create early warning systems for revenue risks and customer churn.
- Support quarterly and annual forecasting processes with detailed analytical insights.
- Partner with Finance and operational leaders to evaluate plan performance and corrective actions.
Customer Retention & Churn Analytics:
- Lead root cause analysis of customer churn and retention trends.
- Quantify drivers of customer attrition and develop actionable recommendations.
- Build analytical models that identify at-risk customers and revenue streams.
- Support retention and customer-save programs through targeted insights and performance measurement.
- Evaluate customer health indicators and value realization metrics.
Data Management & Reporting:
- Consolidate data from multiple systems and sources to create a comprehensive revenue intelligence framework.
- Design and maintain executive dashboards, performance scorecards, and operational reporting.
- Develop key performance indicators and operational control metrics for measuring business health.
- Establish standardized reporting methodologies and governance processes.
- Improve data quality, transparency, and accessibility across the organization.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Collaborate with Revenue Growth Programs to prioritize opportunities and measure initiative effectiveness.
- Partner with Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to develop analytical support for strategic initiatives.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and functional teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor on revenue performance, customer trends, and commercial strategy.

Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Analytics, Business, Mathematics, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Revenue Analytics, FP&A, Business Intelligence, Revenue Operations, Commercial Analytics, Consulting, or related disciplines.
- Proven experience building analytical models and translating data into executive-level recommendations.
- Advanced expertise in forecasting, performance management, and business analytics.
- Strong proficiency with BI tools, dashboard development, and data visualization.
- Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience within SaaS, subscription, technology, fintech, or recurring revenue businesses.
- Knowledge of retention analytics, pricing strategy, customer segmentation, and revenue planning.
- Experience with predictive analytics and advanced forecasting techniques.
- MBA, Master's Degree, or advanced analytical certification.
