Join our IT Sourcing Team and advance your career as a Sourcing Lead!

The Sourcing Lead is responsible for leading complex sourcing and contracting activities across the IT categories like Software as Service, Infrastructure, Cloud computing, Application development & Maintenance, Software license models, Hardware. You will act as a category focal point, develops sourcing strategies, manages stakeholder and supplier relationships, negotiates commercial agreements, and delivers sustainable value in alignment with business and procurement objectives.

In this role You will:

• Act as the Corporate Services category expert and focal point for Procurement and business stakeholders.

• Develop and complete category strategies and sourcing plans aligned with business requirements.

• Lead complex sourcing and contracting projects from strategy development through contract execution.

• Manage supplier selection processes, commercial negotiations, and contract finalization activities.

• Build and maintain effective partner and supplier relationships.

• Identify value creation opportunities and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.

• Provide category guidance, coaching and support to team members.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote procurement standards.

• Ensure compliance with procurement governance, policies, applicable regulations, and BP's Code of Conduct.

What You will need to be successful:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Law, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement, category management, or contracting experience in a multinational environment.

• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement and sourcing processes.

• Demonstrated experience in supplier negotiations and contract management.

• Proven partner management and influencing skills across multiple organisational levels.

• Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to prioritise and handle complex projects simultaneously.

• Proficient in relevant procurement systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Desirable criteria:

• Experience within Corporate Services categories, preferably including Business Consulting, Audit, Tax, Payroll, Banking, Accounting, or related professional services.

• Experience in category management and category strategy development.

• Professional procurement qualification (e.g., CIPS or equivalent).

• Experience working in global or cross-functional procurement environments.

• Knowledge of sourcing and contracting within professional services categories.

• Experience mentoring or coaching team members.
