Job Description Summary
This Individual is a strong contributing member to provide overall site sourcing support to assigned product lines and execute defined metrics, for both NPI (New Product Introduction) and mass production itemsJob Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Represent Sourcing during scheduled functional reviews and prepare Sourcing Review templates for leadership Business Reviews for NPI programs
- Engage with Supplier Quality Engineers to drive a robust process on Supplier Selection, Supplier qualification and monitor Supplier Performance KPIs to develop supply base ability to deliver value
- Work effectively with technology, supplier quality, site materials and supply chain personnel on day-to-day problem resolutions, engineering change process and improvement opportunities
- Lead assigned sourcing initiatives and developed sourcing strategy to drive product lines deflation, sole source elimination, supplier early engagement, supplier on time delivery, supplier MOQ/lead-time reduction/VMI programs.
- Partner with key commodity sourcing leaders to align sourcing strategy, initiatives and leverage volumes globally and regionally
- Engage the business leadership team to develop sourcing programs / processes
- Conduct qualification & competitive analysis of vendor products / services
- Develop, plan, and manage programs to meet GE purchasing commitments in Sourcing
- Manage the complete purchasing and contracts (MSA, NDA and Bailments)
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree (Engineering or Business preferred)
- Minimum 5+ years Sourcing / Procurement Supplier Management experience in a major industrial environment
- Ability to collaborate with remote team across time zones
- Knowledge/expertise of Grid Automation product lines, electronic components and mechanical assemblies
- Interpretation of purchasing contracts, industry standards, regulatory requirement documents

For candidates applying to a Canadian-based position, the pay range for this position is between 88,900.00 and 112,000.00 CAD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus
