CNC Lead Position Summary

The Cell Lead I is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and leading the activities of a cellular work team in a manufacturing environment. They ensure the team meets assigned goals and objectives while working with various production machinery and equipment. The role involves executing production schedules, scheduling employees, ensuring materials availability, maintaining quality standards, and facilitating on-the-job training.

 

Cell Lead position is Eligible for a $3/hour cell lead premium. 

 

Responsibilities

Cell Lead Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate employees, equipment, and materials/supplies to have continuous and efficient production
• Ensure orders are completed on time and meet the quality standards
• Train and develop personnel
• Ensure employee compliance with schedules, policy, and procedures

Qualifications

Cell Lead Position Requirements

• Knowledge of industry, machinery, equipment, and processes
• Previous experience managing internal relationships and team facilitation
• Scheduling experience in manufacturing
• Business systems software (excel, word, job costing systems)
• Five years related experience
• High School diploma or equivalent

Cell Lead Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Machining experience with medical components, devices, or instruments
• Previous experience with tight tolerances
• Programming experience with CNC Machines
• Experience with set-up on CNC Machines
• Experience in troubleshooting of CNC Machines
• Business/technical degree or equivalent experience

Cretex Companies use cutting oils, solvents, and other chemicals in the manufacturing process. Testing is conducted on a periodic basis to ensure that all chemicals are kept well below the OSHA permissible exposure levels.

 

Pay Range

USD $25.14 - USD $40.67 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.

20+hours:
