About the role
Coordinates and conducts operational, financial, and compliance audits to evaluate the IAA Credit Union’s (IAACU) adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Provides specialized administrative support to the IAACU executive management team and Board of Directors ensuring compliance with bylaws, regulatory requirements, and organizational procedures.
How does this role make an impact?
Serves as the primary owner for compliance management, vendor due diligence, contract lifecycle management, policy administration, and risk monitoring activities. Administers the risk and compliance management platform, completes required reviews and documentation, and reports to management and external organizations.
Conducts internal audit activities including cash counts, new account reviews, consumer loan audits, and mortgage quality control examinations. Documents audit findings, monitors corrective actions, and provides regular audit and compliance reporting to the CEO and management team.
Supports the CEO, executive management team, Board of Directors, and committees through the coordination of meetings and governance activities, including the preparation and distribution of agendas, board packets, presentations, reports, minutes, and other communications. Maintains official records and tracks action items while handling confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
Supports organizational projects and strategic initiatives by providing administrative coordination, documentation management, and process oversight across departments, as needed.
Do you have what we're looking for?
Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training.
- Prior experience in a compliance, audit, risk management, governance, executive support, or financial services role, preferably within a credit union or banking environment.
- Working knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, vendor management, contract administration, policy governance, internal controls, and enterprise risk management principles.
- Experience preparing board and committee materials, maintaining official records, coordinating meetings, and supporting executive leadership while handling confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines, perform detailed reviews, and maintain accurate documentation in a highly regulated environment.
- Strong professional judgment, integrity, and confidence in identifying, documenting, and communicating audit findings, compliance concerns, or operational risks, including unfavorable findings when appropriate.
- Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive employee, member, financial, regulatory, and Board-level information.
Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
Physical ability to handle event planning and setup of related displays, including the ability to lift, move and/or carry up to 30 pounds.
Occasional travel required, including some overnights.

Base Pay Range:
$62,000-$85,250
The base pay range represents the typical range of potential salary offers for candidates hired. Factors used to determine your actual salary include your specific skills, qualifications and experience.
Incentive Pay:
In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a Short-Term Incentive plan.
