Interventional Radiology Technologist- Ful-Time - Mid-Shift

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist- to join our team. In this role, you will work on OR procedures assisting Radiologists including handling/operating equipment and instruments during cases in addition to patient and tray prep. While this is a technical position with no supervisory responsibility, you will play a critical role in maintaining our premier level of quality, in support of a world-class clinical team. Join us. The shift for this position is 11am-7pm, plus on-call responsibilities as per department needs, including overnights and weekends. Location is our Columbia campus in Upper Manhattan/Washington Heights.
Required Criteria
High School Diploma or GED
Graduate AMA approved school of radiology
New York State licensure in Radiography and certified by New York State to inject contrast media
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI). If not held, must obtain certification within 18 months of start date.
Maintains continuing education credits per American Registry of Radiologic Technologists requirements.
Minimum of one year experience in Diagnostic Imaging
Proficient in EMR, RIS, PACS, Modality specific software
Must be willing to respond, if needed, for emergency examinations when available
Must complete 3 month department modality specific evaluation
