Responsibilities
- Support the Secretary of War for Science and Technology (S&T) Program Protection as it guides and supports modern research and analysis of strategic Critical Areas of Technoloy, Bio-Technology, Directed Energy, Hypersonics, AI, Logistics
- Advise top Pentagon leadership on biotechnology issues
- Work to evaluate and secure cutting-edge technology essential to the modernization of national strategy in defense.
- Represent USD R&E on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and participate in Government-approved conferences and forums in addition to specific USD R&E projects.
- Assist, prepare and conduct meetings for current Biotechnology issues.
- Conduct biotechnology research analysis.
- Develop and coordinate concepts and requirements for the application of current and emerging technologies as they apply to DoD's R&E program.
- Assist and prepare presentations and reports to DoW leadership and outside DoW.
- Track the department-wide budget for efforts aligning with Biotechnology.
- Maintain and update Biotechnology modernization roadmaps, coordinate roadmaps with key stakeholders.
- Make recommendations to the development of Concepts of Operations (CONOPS) pertinent to mission needs and technical capabilities.
Qualifications
- 7yrs years of experience of engineering, biotechnology, and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E).
- Master’s degree in STEM and minimum of 5-years recent experience in biotechnology or an MBA degree.
- Experience with Python, R, Share-point Development.
- TS/SCI Clearance Eligibility.
- U.S. Citizenship Required for the purposes of obtaining/holding a U.S. security clearance.
- Excellent writing, communication and briefing.
