Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Jobholder is responsible for leading both Property Teams (International and North America) to support placing
and managing a portfolio of global placements in the Swiss/European insurance market. The jobholder is also
responsible for placing and managing an own portfolio.
• Leading the Teams in respect of Sales planning, client meetings and placement support
• Managing large, complex accounts / transactions with frequent client contact
• Negotiating coverage terms, conditions and price with insurance companies
• Managing large strategic client relationships and their interaction with Swiss/European insurance carriers
• Providing strategic advice and advanced technical support to retail/producing offices regarding
Swiss/European insurance environment and specific capabilities of individual markets
• Developing new business opportunities in conjunction with retail/producing offices
• Maintaining strong working relationships with underwriters, leading assigned market relationship activities
and identifying/developing new sources of insurance capacity
• Contributing to and leading specific strategic initiatives
• Managing team of Brokers
• Conducting marketing trips to communicate office value proposition and meet with current and prospect
clients
• Representing office at industry seminars and events
• Overseeing post placement activities conducted by Associate Brokers, including execution of binding
documents, policy wording, endorsements and billings
• Assisting Management in the completion of monthly and quarterly management reports

Qualifications:
• Commercial apprenticeship or equivalent education; University level preferred
• English (fluently)
• 10 + years insurance industry experience (one of our clients in the risk management or another broker or (re-) insurance company)
