Job Title: Accountant – Fund Administration
Location: Remote – Panama, Mexico, Colombia, or Chile
Type of Contract: Full-Time | Remote
Salary Range: Market Rates, depending on location, experience, and employment structure

Our client is seeking a skilled Accountant – Fund Administration with experience supporting investment funds and fund administration processes to join their growing team. You will play a key role in fund accounting, NAV calculations, investor reporting, and transaction processing. Your work will directly impact the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of financial information provided to fund stakeholders and investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review fund accounting activities, including NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and related transactions.
- Support the preparation and reconciliation of LP statements, investor allocations, and periodic investor reporting.
- Maintain accurate fund accounting records and perform reconciliations across cash, investments, expenses, and investor activity.
- Review fund activity and financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with fund documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, fund administrators, investors, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and deliver required financial reporting on schedule.
- Utilize accounting and fund administration systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to maintain accurate and efficient workflows.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, fund administration, fund accounting, or a closely related financial services environment.
- Direct experience working with investment funds, private equity funds, hedge funds, or similar investment structures.
- Strong understanding of NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, LP statements, and investor reporting.
- Strong accounting fundamentals, including reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to communicate effectively with U.S.-based stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple reporting deadlines accurately.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial data and accounting systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with private equity or alternative investment funds.
- Familiarity with fund administration platforms and investor accounting systems.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based investment managers, fund administrators, or financial services firms.
- Accounting degree or relevant professional qualification.
- Experience working with distributed or international teams.
