As a Security Guard Full Time Front Desk Alarm Monitoring in Milpitas, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a logistics and distribution location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor security-related activity, and respond to alarms or incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while helping maintain an organized, professional environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting visitors, contractors, delivery personnel, and employees; verifying identification and authorizing access in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Manage front-desk reception activities, including maintaining visitor logs, issuing visitor badges, answering incoming calls, and directing guests to appropriate contacts or locations.
• Monitor access-control systems, cameras, alarms, and other security-related equipment; report unusual activity, access concerns, or equipment issues according to established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergency notifications, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as appropriate.
• Support security-related procedures within a logistics and distribution location by maintaining accurate records, communicating clearly with personnel, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A minimum typing speed of 40 words per minute is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
