Compliance Analyst

Are you detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about helping organisations do the right thing? Join APA as a Compliance Analyst and play a key role in supporting effective compliance management and governance across a critical national infrastructure business.

 

In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to support compliance activities, maintain regulatory obligations registers, monitor compliance programs, and provide valuable insights that help drive strong governance outcomes.

 

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide day-to-day compliance support and guidance across the business.
• Assist with maintaining compliance obligations registers, monitoring schedules, and control self-assessments.
• Monitor compliance issues, incidents, and remediation activities, ensuring remediation actions remain on track.
• Support key compliance programs, including Privacy, AML/CTF, Sanctions, AFSL, and Anti-Bribery & Corruption.
• Collect, maintain, and manage compliance evidence and documentation.
• Contribute to business, divisional, and Board-level reporting.
• Support the use of technology and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance processes and reporting.

 

What You'll Bring

• Experience in compliance, risk, governance, audit, legal, or a related environment.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Confidence managing competing priorities and delivering quality outcomes within deadlines.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
