Accounting Analyst

Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Accounting Analyst.

## What you’ll do:

Job Summary

Perform and support the monthly closing process, prepare Balance sheet Reconciliations BSR (Bank, Freight, TAX, AP, AR, etc), Invoicing for services render, Cash aplication, Bank transactions recording and reconciliation,creation of accounts payables for some services, Maquila, Accruals journal entries related, etc.

Job Responsibilities

1\. General accounting procedures and perform the monthly closing process for Sites.

2\. Responsible of invoicing to all intercompanies the services rendered by the site.

3\. Performe the cash application for the invoices collected during the month.

4\. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations every month for different balance accounts.

5\. Prepare on a monthly basis the income and freight reconciliation.

6\. Register and analysis for FX on a monthly basis.

7\. Ensure the accuracy for taxes recorded, mainly VAT.

8\. Generate on a monthly basis the complement of payment for all invoices collected to comply with tax requirements.

9\. Treasury, ICA & ZBA. Ensure correct recording and Reconciliation in corporate ledgers.

10\. Prepare the accruals for beneffits such as EPS, Estate Tax and Insurances.

11\. Actively participate in the Profit Plan process for different areas in the corporate operation.

12\. Prepare Intercompany Transactions, Income / Invoicing Records and Control AR and AP accounts.

13\. Support and/or lead department activities related to process improvements and standard work.

14\. Maintain an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement to achieve departmental and GFA goals. Support site, functional or corporate initiatives.

15\. Collaborate with the Internal Control Audit and Statutory Audits for the sites and activities under the scope.

16\. Other activities assigned by supervisor or special requirements from management or company.

17\. Maintain safe, clean working environment in compliance with all Eaton safety standards, Life Saving Rules, and daily 5S+ requirements to help build a Zero Incident Culture.

## Qualifications:

Education level required

• Bachelor degree in accounting necessary.

Years and area of experience required

• 2 - 4 years of experience in accounting

Technical knowledge

• Journal entries, Accounting records, record to report, conciliations, etc.
• Knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting requirements essential; sound understanding of Tax regulation
• SAP/Oracle Knowledge
• Knowledge of E-banking platforms
• Advanced English
