Role Purpose / Summary
The ChemAlert Strategic Client Partner owns the post-sale relationship with enterprise clients, ensuring ChemAlert is adopted as a validated chemical intelligence platform. The role is responsible for client retention, adoption, expansion, executive engagement and translating ChemAlert’s scientific, regulatory and product stewardship capabilities into measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities

Relationship ownership
Manage the ongoing relationship with key accounts across EHS, product stewardship, procurement, operations, IT, sustainability and executive stakeholders.
Enterprise adoption
Ensure clients are actually using ChemAlert beyond basic SDS search — approvals, inventory, reporting, product stewardship, training, mobile, labelling, lifecycle indicators.
Value translation Convert ChemAlert’s technical/scientific capability into business value: reduced risk, faster approvals, cleaner audits, better reporting, safer chemical decisions.
Renewal protection
Own renewal health, usage reviews, stakeholder engagement, risk flags and commercial retention.
Expansion growth Identify additional sites, modules, business units, jurisdictions, integrations and product stewardship use cases.
Client advocacy Bring client needs back into RMT: product gaps, workflow issues, integration needs, reporting requirements and industry-specific opportunities.
Governance cadence
Run quarterly business reviews, roadmap sessions, training reviews, usage reports and executive check-ins.
Implementation bridge
Work with implementation, support, regulatory/scientific teams and product to ensure promises made in sales are delivered in operations.

EHS / chemical compliance literacy
Does not need to be a chemist, but must understand SDS, GHS, HazCom, REACH, TSCA, DG, approvals and reporting concepts.
Commercial discipline Must protect renewals, spot expansion and manage procurement conversations.
Project coordination Must keep internal teams aligned around client deliverables.
Executive communication
Must translate ChemAlert into risk, cost, compliance and governance language.
Technical curiosity Must be comfortable discussing integrations, APIs, SAP, data migration and reporting workflows.
Consultative mindset Must diagnose client problems, not just respond to tickets.

• Experienced strategic/consultative sales and enterprise client manager, rather than a traditional customer service or reactive account-management profile
• Retention, adoption, expansion, executive engagement and translating technical capability into business value central to the role

• Commercially minded who can manage complex enterprise accounts, protect renewals, identify expansion opportunities and proactively diagnose what a client needs
• Experience conducting strategic client reviews, including business reviews, account planning, usage/adoption reviews, roadmap discussions and executive stakeholder meetings.
• Demonstrated ability to identify commercial opportunities across additional products, services, sites, business units or use cases and progress these opportunities through the sales cycle
• Experience managing competing priorities and multiple enterprise accounts with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
Desirable
• Experience working with enterprise software, SaaS platforms or technically complex products and solutions.
• Experience within EHS, chemical management, regulatory compliance, product stewardship, risk management, sustainability or a related industry.
• Exposure to chemical compliance concepts such as SDS, GHS, HazCom, REACH, TSCA, dangerous goods, chemical approvals and regulatory reporting.
• Experience working with enterprise systems, integrations, APIs, ERP platforms such as SAP, data migration or reporting solutions.
• Experience managing clients operating across multiple sites, jurisdictions or international markets.
Qualifications
Desirable
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Management, Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated professional experience in strategic sales and enterprise client/account management.
• Formal training or certification in consultative selling, strategic account management, customer success or solution selling.
• Qualifications or professional development relating to EHS, WHS, risk management, chemical management, regulatory compliance, sustainability or product stewardship.
• Relevant CRM, SaaS, technology or enterprise software sales/account-management training.
