Outpatient Therapist

The CareMind Therapist will provide outpatient psychiatric services at assigned practice locations in the Las Vegas, NV area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric services at assigned Practice Locations.
• Serve as therapy provider for patients at assigned Practice Locations covered under the Employment Agreement and this Exhibit thereto as applicable for outpatient services;
• Provide leadership necessary to maintain Practice Location integrity and facility safety;
• Be available for conflict resolution between staff and patients as well as assist with any patient complaints;
• Provide coverage as assigned for the absence of providers or as otherwise requested at other Practice Locations and assist with the development of call schedules in collaboration with the rest of the Employer team;
• Submit charges to billing within 24-hours in compliance with the Charges Submission Policy;
• Complete and maintain clinical documentation by the end of the day upon completion of services; and
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Deliver psychotherapeutic services to the behavioral health population using evidence-based therapy to include individual and group therapy methods to improve clinical and functional outcomes.
• Utilize screenings including but not limited to M3, PHQ-9, GAD-7, and triage intake referrals.
• Deliver direct patient care through patient-centered, culturally competent, measurement-based care.
• Educate clients about available resources and community programs and collaborate with other staff to refer clients to other services when clinically indicated.
• Develop, manage, and update treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Prepare and maintain all required records, reports, paperwork, and patients’ diagnostic records, maintaining the confidentiality of patients at all times.
• Complete and maintain all clinical notes and medical records in Employer’s EMR within twenty-four (24) hours of completion of services.
• Submit charges for professional services daily.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other treatment team members to coordinate care.
• Provide coverage for absences of colleagues as clinically appropriate.
• Supervise or assist incoming therapists including “incident to” billing when applicable.
• Initiate and lead the development of new therapeutic programs that align with the company mission and service the patient population.
• Improve Employer’s program and work environment through constructive suggestions and uphold professional standards as a representative of Employer.
• Support Employer’s marketing and advertising efforts such as family or community education events.

Education & Work Experience:

• Licensure: Active Independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Nevada.
• Education: Master’s degree or Doctorate in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
• Clinical Experience: Extensive clinical experience in behavioral health delivering outpatient, evidence-based psychotherapeutic services.
• Administrative Experience: Demonstrated experience meeting compliance standards of clinical documentation quality, policies, and serving as outpatient Therapist.
