The Opportunity:

Do you enjoy developing cross-cutting solutions to effectively integrate and optimize the various and disparate sources, methods, technologies to effectively translate and integrate academic research and commercial best practices into sustainable analytic workflows? Join our team as a Expert DevOps Engineer! You will get to use your technical skills in engineering, in conjunction with your expertise integrating and developing AI capabilities; meaningful exploitation and analysis; and rapidly integrating and leveraging new sources, methods and technology that account for non- technical end users in support of informed resource allocation and optimization, actionable insight, and meaningful anticipation and influence. Your expertise with a DevOps will be critical to interpret, connect, predict, and make discoveries in complex data in support of actionable intelligence executed by America’s most elite forces.
Responsibilities:
You will work as part of a team to solve the most critical operational problems involving data analytics in support of operational forces. Your experience and background in cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes to design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters and the associated infrastructure in support of cross functional AI/ML solutions for geospatial intelligence problem sets. You will use your creativity to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployments, implementing comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions, and automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
You will be in a customer-facing role to collaborate with development teams and imagery, FMV, and GEOINT analysis to optimize performance and reliability, enforce security best practices for both Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure, and continuously stay informed about the latest trends and technologies in the DevOps and Kubernetes ecosystem.
As part of a team, you will deploy AI/ML capabilities using multiple technological and computational methodologies, to provide insight and understanding of the operational environment or point of interest.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Hold a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and 10+ years of IT systems administration or developer experience with at least 3 years as a DevOps Engineer; OR 14+ years of progressive experience with DevOps and cloud deployment methodology with demonstrated proficiency and hand-on expertise with Kubernetes (including cluster deployment, management, and troubleshooting) in support of the DoW or IC.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies like Docker, proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and capability in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go).
- Experience with CI/CD tools, familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, networking knowledge within cloud and containerized environments, and experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Shall possess strong oral and written communication skills and be capable of effectively leading projects
- Obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification per DOD 8140.
Desired:
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar field
- Strong understanding of utilizing geospatial data and providing AI/ML support to Intelligence analysis.
- Current Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).
- Experience with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd, and familiarity with GitOps principles.
- Expertise in database administration for both SQL and NoSQL systems and knowledge of microservices architecture.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. $99,800 - $219,600
