Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Health & Benefits Sales Professional for a hybrid position in Washington, DC. This role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies for employers and their employees across employee benefits, healthcare, financial security, and related solutions.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Manage and grow a large book of complex or high-yield accounts.
• Develop new business through sales presentations, calls, meetings, and prospect outreach.
• Lead complex sales opportunities from initial identification through closing.
• Sell into the mid-market employee benefits space, with a focus on organizations of approximately 1,000–5,000 employees.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders and C-suite executives.
• Develop proposals, presentations, and RFP responses addressing complex prospect needs.

COMPENSATION
• $141,000–$170,000 annual compensation range

SCHEDULE / WORK ARRANGEMENT
• Hybrid work arrangement
• Minimum 3 days per week in the office
• 2 remote days per week
• Washington, DC is the highest current hiring priority

ROLE
• Execute sales goals while managing a large book of complex or high-yield accounts.
• Conduct sales presentations, calls, and meetings with prospective and existing clients.
• Use market knowledge and service-offering expertise to conduct prospecting and cold outreach.
• Develop proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that communicate the business value of available services and solutions.
• Lead complex account opportunities from identification through close, including pricing negotiations and expectation discussions.
• Research markets and industries to identify new prospects and expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Maintain relationships with account representatives and stakeholders to support client satisfaction and continued growth.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and introduce additional products and services to existing accounts.
• Participate in professional and industry organizations, conferences, and relevant networking events.

Requirements

Requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience REQUIRED
• Experience selling to companies in the 1,000–5,000 employee benefits space REQUIRED
• Experiential knowledge of the Employee Benefits or Health & Benefits consulting industry and products REQUIRED
• Strong track record of achieving sales goals REQUIRED
• Ability to work a hybrid schedule with at least 3 days per week in the Washington, DC office REQUIRED
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship REQUIRED

Preferred
• Bachelor's degree
• Strong network and ability to gain access to C-suite executives
• Life and Health License

Candidates without a college degree may be considered when they have proven sales success, particularly experience selling into or working with organizations of 1,000+ employees and relevant Employee Benefits experience.
