Frank Beverage Group is seeking a Combo Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will develop and sustain professional sales relationships while promoting and merchandising the company’s products and programs across accounts within your assigned territory. Collaborating closely with your manager through a structured pre-planning process, you will work to meet both individual and company sales goals.
This route will be primarily responsible for primarily covering Sauk City, Elroy, and Hillsboro.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Sales & Customer Relationships
- Manage an assigned sales route and plan daily activities around customer needs and sales objectives.
- Conduct regular sales calls and build strong relationships with assigned accounts.
- Work toward monthly sales, distribution, and route goals.
- Grow product distribution and identify opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts.
- Introduce and promote new brands, products, packaging, seasonal offerings, and promotions.
- Educate customers and their teams on products, brands, styles, programs, and industry trends.
- Monitor competitive pricing, market activity, and sales trends and communicate relevant information to management.
- Participate in customer, supplier, and community events as needed, including events outside standard business hours.
Off-Premise Accounts
- Merchandise and stock products at assigned retail accounts to maintain product availability and presentation.
- Complete inventory counts, organize back stock, replenish shelves and cold boxes, and maintain clean and appealing displays.
- Build displays and install POS materials in accordance with company and supplier standards.
- Monitor product codes and properly rotate date-sensitive products, particularly beer.
- Support product resets and work with category management to maximize product placement and sales.
- Assist retail customers with product locations and questions.
- Maintain an organized inventory of POS materials and coupons and apply applicable rebates and coupons.
On-Premise Accounts
- Build relationships with bars, restaurants, and other on-premise customers.
- Conduct customer staff training to strengthen product knowledge and sales support.
- Create and install POS materials, including menu cards and permanent signage.
- Complete inventory counts and maintain organized back stock and coolers.
- Monitor product codes and ensure proper rotation of date-sensitive products.
- Utilize intermediate draft system knowledge to assist with basic troubleshooting.
- Support supplier work-with events, promotions, and other customer initiatives.
Team & Business Support
- Enter orders, complete surveys, manage POS requests, and track route goals using eoStar.
- Monitor customer credit status and assist with collections on outstanding invoices.
- Deliver urgent “hot shot” orders to customer locations as needed.
- Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and company events.
- Work collaboratively with merchandisers, delivery drivers, suppliers, category management, and other internal teams.
- Support the training and development of Sales Relief Representatives and trainees.
- Track and communicate progress toward sales plans and goals.
- Meet regularly with management to review accomplishments and establish upcoming goals.
- Complete required plans, reports, and documentation accurately and on time.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) required; bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of sales experience required; beverage distribution, hospitality, supplier, or related industry experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle, and proof of insurance required. Mileage reimbursement is provided for business use.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required liquor salesperson permits.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Familiarity with the sales territory is preferred.
