Job Summary
The Rady Children's Health Department of Strategy ensures the continued short term and long term success of the Rady Children's Health Strategic Plan, from strategy ideation to activation. The Department of Strategy includes three distinct but aligned functions to support this mission: strategy analytics, activation/project management, and planningThe Senior Internal Consultant will work in collaboration with organizational leadership to translate complex strategies into distinct initiatives with detailed workplans and key performance indicators based on budget, resources and organizational alignment.
The scope of work and responsibilities include sizeable portfolio management for critical strategic initiatives that will be deployed into organization-wide, large-scale projects while recognizing interdependencies across multiple initiatives and mitigating risk for successful implementation. This role will be tasked with driving the portfolio of initiatives to successful completion with urgency while noting tight deadlines and shifting priorities. Additionally, this role will include implementation of change management methodologies including training leaders on how to successfully drive change in a fast-paced operating environment.
Pay Range
Minimum $121,347 Midpoint $160,826 Maximum $200,283Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
* Required: Minimum seven (7) years of experience in a strategic planning role in a healthcare or consulting environment. Five (5) years of
experience in a healthcare setting. Experience in mergers and acquisitions. Experience with transition planning and activation of major capital projects. Experience with portfolio management.
Education
* Required: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration.
* Preferred: Master's degree in Business Administration, or Master's in Healthcare Administration.
Training
* Required: Project Management and Change Management Training.
* Preferred: Lean, Six Sigma or Kaizen experience.
Specialized Skills
* Required: Excellent analytical skills. Experience interfacing with leaders at all levels. Must have strong communication, facilitation and
presentation skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft products: Excel, Word and Power Point. Must be proficient in Project Management Software (i.e. Smartsheet, Monday.com, Adaptivework). Proven organizational skills with ability to plan time
effectively, balance multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Maturity, good judgment, trustworthiness and discretion in dealing with
sensitive and confidential information. Must have commitment to customer service excellence.
Licensure
* Required: None
* Preferred: Change Management certification (i.e. AIM, Prosci), or Project Management Prof (PMP).
