Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing the end-to-end product life cycle, including conducting market research and competitor analyses, determining product pricing, developing short and long-term strategies, identifying innovative opportunities to modernize product offerings and deliver a more unified customer experience, and adhering to the Product Risk Management policy. Job expectations may include ensuring that product management efforts are integrated with sales, marketing, operations, implementation, and customer service strategies.
The Consumer Deposits Strategy & Performance Management team serves as a strategic partner to Consumer Deposits leadership, helping shape business strategy, drive performance outcomes, and identify opportunities for growth across our deposit portfolio. The team works across Product, Digital, Marketing, Channels, Fraud, Operations, Finance, Risk, and other key partners to advance strategic priorities, support business decision-making, and optimize client and business outcomes.
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to help drive the strategic management of our Consumer Deposits business. This individual will play a key role in supporting business performance routines, identifying growth opportunities, facilitating strategic initiatives, and developing executive communications that help leaders make informed decisions.
This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong strategic thinking, exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, and the capacity to influence across a broad network of stakeholders. The ideal candidate is intellectually curious, business-oriented, and able to connect ideas across products, channels, clients, and organizational priorities to help drive growth and improve business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Identifies and creates comprehensive plans for product development and deployment, including supporting the creation of sales training programs and marketing materials to educate clients and internal teams on product capabilities
- Oversees a set of products and maintains financials, including managing the investment profile and profit and loss (P&L) activities, such as revenue and profit margins
- Provides information on product trends to sales and marketing teams leveraging knowledge of product functionality, marketplace trends, and the competitive landscape
- Identifies opportunities to streamline or enhance product offerings to fit client's existing and future needs and support continued growth and operational excellence
- Manages risk through implementing and monitoring effective controls in partnership with key support partners
- Partners with internal stakeholders to obtain meaningful insights about markets, clients, and competitors in order to develop products that solve client needs and ensure high adoption rates
- Support the strategic management of the Consumer Deposits portfolio by helping leaders understand business performance, client behaviors, emerging trends, and opportunities for growth.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities that enhance client engagement, deepen relationships, improve retention, and support deposit growth objectives.
- Develop executive-level presentations, leadership communications, discussion materials, and strategic recommendations.
- Translate complex business topics into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for senior leadership audiences.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across Product, Digital, Marketing, Channels, Fraud, Risk, Operations, Finance, and other key business partners to support strategic decision-making.
- Drive alignment and coordination across multiple teams and initiatives in a highly matrixed environment.
- Support business planning, operating reviews, leadership routines, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop business cases, opportunity assessments, and recommendations that support investment and prioritization decisions.
- Evaluate market developments, industry trends, client expectations, and competitive dynamics to inform business strategy.
- Facilitate cross-functional discussions that help connect priorities, identify dependencies, and advance key business objectives.
- Challenge assumptions, bring forward new ideas, and help create clarity around strategic opportunities and decisions.
- Serve as a trusted partner to leaders by providing thoughtful perspectives and helping drive action against business priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Strategy, Business Management, Consulting, Financial Services, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in Product Management or a related discipline.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Exceptional PowerPoint and presentation development skills, including experience creating executive-level materials and leadership communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with executive and senior leadership audiences.
- Strong storytelling abilities and experience developing clear, concise, and compelling executive narratives.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to connect insights, business priorities, stakeholder perspectives, client needs, and market trends into clear strategic recommendations.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across a diverse group of stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build partnerships across Product, Digital, Marketing, Channels, Fraud, Risk, Operations, and Finance organizations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a highly matrixed environment.
