As part of the Business Unit Professional IT, we are building and evolving Salesforce into a strategic platform that supports customer engagement, sales, and field service operations across Miele Professional. In this position, you will help shape the future of our Salesforce platform from the beginning. Working closely with Product Owners, Solution Owners, Application Consultants, Architects, and business stakeholders, you will design, develop, and enhance enterprise-grade Salesforce solutions while contributing to modern engineering practices, automation, and continuous platform innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce APIs.
• Develop custom functionality while maximizing the use of standard Salesforce capabilities.
• Build integrations between Salesforce and enterprise platforms such as SAP, middleware, and third-party applications.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Owners, and Application Consultants to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design, estimation, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Build reusable components and promote development standards that improve engineering efficiency.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform stability, security, and performance.
• Explore and adopt modern AI-assisted development practices to improve software quality and developer productivity.

What You'll Bring:

• At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including 3+ years developing Salesforce solutions.
• Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Experience developing enterprise Salesforce applications.
• Knowledge of Salesforce Flows and declarative platform capabilities.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications using REST or SOAP APIs.
• Understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, governor limits, and performance optimization.
• Experience working with Git, source-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and collaborative mindset.
• Good written and spoken English.

• Salesforce Platform Developer II certification.
• Salesforce JavaScript Developer I certification.
• Salesforce Application Architect certification.
• Experience with Salesforce DX, DevOps Center, Copado, Gearset, or similar deployment tools.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with SAP, MuleSoft, Azure Integration Services, or comparable middleware.
• Familiarity with modern frontend technologies and enterprise cloud platforms.
• Interest in AI-assisted software engineering and developer productivity tools.
• German language skills.

Education:

You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline—or equivalent professional experience in Salesforce development and enterprise software engineering.
