Your new role:
In this role, you’ll lead the strategy and optimisation of paid acquisition channels across Google Ads, Meta Ads and other digital channels, using data-led insights to improve conversion, shape acquisition activity and maximise return on ad spend.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own paid acquisition strategy across Google Ads, Meta Ads and other digital channels, aligning activity to commercial, audience, brand and acquisition goals.
- Brief, guide and partner with the media agency on campaign setup, targeting, bidding, creative testing, channel mix and optimisation priorities, ensuring strong execution and performance outcomes.
- Review campaign performance, budget pacing and key metrics to identify opportunities for stronger conversion, acquisition growth and return on media investment.
- Write, review and refine ad and SEM copy, providing creative direction that is clear, compelling, compliant and aligned to campaign objectives.
- Analyse campaign performance across CPC, CPL, CPA, ROI and full-funnel conversion, maintaining dashboards and reporting routines that support commercial decision-making.
- Use platform AI and automation, including Google Performance Max, Smart Bidding and Meta Advantage+, alongside AI tools for creative testing, analysis and reporting.
- Partner with Digital, Product, UX, Data, Legal, Compliance, design and agency teams to improve tracking, landing-page conversion and compliant campaign delivery.
What we’re looking for
You’re a commercially focused performance marketer with a growth mindset, strong strategic judgement and a genuine passion for data. You’re confident using insights to optimise performance, partner with agency teams and connect campaign activity to measurable acquisition, conversion and return on media investment. If you bring the following, we’d love to hear from you:
- 3+ years’ experience in performance marketing across Google Ads and Meta Ads, with strong knowledge of campaign strategy, optimisation levers, performance metrics and effective agency execution.
- Strong experience in campaign reporting, analysis and data interpretation to improve performance and ROI.
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Tag Manager and dashboarding tools such as Looker Studio or Supermetrics.
- Demonstrated campaign optimisation experience across bidding, audience segmentation, creative A/B testing and real-time performance decisions.
- Experience using AI tools and platform automation to improve efficiency, scale testing and support analysis.
- Experience developing or owning paid-media strategy and managing external media agencies or partners is highly regarded.
- B2C performance marketing experience in financial services, and exposure to programmatic, native content or emerging platforms, is highly regarded.
