About the Team:
Responsible for processing expertise when performing the department’s daily operational tasks and when providing operational support to internal business partners and/or Clients. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to establishing and ongoing maintenance of accounts, loans, managing exceptions for several payment channels, researching or reconciling complex information. Collateral team is responsible to collect, record, manage, maintain and extend all the UCC and real estate related collateral.

Facilitates processes and associate workflow while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and policies. Maintains records or systems crucial for business operations. Key Deliverables (Duties and Responsibilities)
Performs assigned activities required to support Global Operations. Works independently and has proven expertise that is applied to the essential functions. Utilizes knowledge or resources to resolve complex issues; seldom encounters issues requiring escalation. General operations functions may include, but are not limited to:
Work with Stakeholders to collect UCC/Flood Insurance & real estate collateral documents.
Maintain & manage UCC/Flood Insurance and real-estate information.
Reconciliation of collateral/Flood Insurance information against the origination & accounting systems.
Tracking, verifying, and/or inputting information
Reviewing accuracy/scrutinizing of information or loan documents
Preparing reports
Analyzing and researching items for resolution
Processing transactions or resolving exceptions
Provides daily loan maintenance to support client’s needs after the loan is boarded
Performs advance requests and have a clear understanding of International Money Transfers, FED, DDA, process, review / approve wire requests, etc.
Capable of processing and review of Interest changes, commitment amount, fees, etc.
Apply collections to client’s loans
Reviews loan documents
Responsible for onboarding and maintaining client loans on multiple loan systems
Prepare payment schedules and post payments to loan system
Performs quality assurance
Handles Letters of Credit boarding and maintenance
Performs governance activities
Provide client support and training
Manage fee logs / Review Control Reports
Completing and overseeing daily checklist ensuring all controls, procedures and processes relating to the assigned functions are followed
Proactively managing operational risk inherent in business
Ensuring all operational risk/issues are identified and mitigated appropriately and proactively
Delivering transactions in agreed time - frames, as per SLA’s whilst improving quality of processing, reducing errors and inculcating the zero-error culture
Lead plays a key role in creating an environment based on personal accountability, learning and growth across their team through consistent coaching and feedback, ensuring a smooth workflow with our internal business partners and takes the lead in resolving escalations, delegating clear assignments, establishing clear priorities for the team, motivating to meet and exceed performance expectations and identifying and adopting best practices for loan operations.
Work with internal business partners and vendors as required. Accountability for understanding and adhering to bank policies, procedures, legal and compliance requirements are critical in this role.
Will work with commercial loan operations managers or other senior GLO staff to research loan related inquiries, respond to internal and external requests for information, review and certify various reports, champion new initiatives, and encourage the sharing of key learning and best practices across work units.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree/master’s degree (preferably Commerce/MBA)
4-6 years of professional related experience (banking/financial services industry, specifically commercial lending operations experience)
Technical/Business Skills:
Expertise in MS Office tools Knowledge in reading and interpreting Loan Agreements Experience in Loan Servicing, UCC and real-estate information collateral management/monitoring. Hands on experience in ACBS, LoanIQ, ALS etc.
