Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certified
- Minimum 6 months of experience as an NP
- Proficient in performing diagnostic tests, operating medical equipment, and utilizing electronic health records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical exams and patient observations
- Record patients' medical histories and symptoms
- Create patient care plans and contribute to existing ones
- Order, administer, and analyze diagnostic tests
- Monitor and operate medical equipment
- Diagnose health issues
- Administer medicine and other treatments
- Detect changes in patients' health and modify treatment plans as needed
- Consult with healthcare professionals and families
- Educate patients and their families on managing and preventing illness and injury.
