Job Description

As a Security Officer Commercial Real Estate in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a retail location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence for visitors, employees, and tenants. You will manage access control, respond to security-related concerns, support alarm-panel activity, and provide exceptional customer service using strong communication and computer skills. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors at a retail property front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Greet visitors, provide directions and general information, and manage visitor access in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor access points, receive deliveries or service personnel, and maintain required visitor, vendor, and/or incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Monitor front desk communications, cameras, alarms, and other assigned systems, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
