Pierce Pump, a subsidiary of Applied Industrial Technologies/FCX Performance, is seeking a Pump Technician in our Dallas, TX location.
Your duties will include field and shop Repair / Assembley of a variety of different styles of pumps to include Vertical Turbines, Submersibles, ANSI style pumps, Multistage Pumps, Split Case pumps, Laser Alignment, etc. Break pumps down and evaluate, go through a parts manual and make out a parts list of needed replacement parts. Other duties may include assembly/fabrication, minor plumbing, and testing of components, troubleshooting, removal, installation, and repairs on various customer equipment.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Mechanical Aptitude
Must be able to troubleshoot and understand pump systems
Must be able to work in the service facility and at customer locations when needed
Welding experience needed
Must have basic hand tools
Must be able to work after hours and weekends if needed
Basic Computer Skills
High School Diploma or GED
